Stage Manager for Touring Productions

Embark on an adventurous journey as a Stage Manager with Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia, serving audiences across North America during our  touring season. This role blends artistry with logistics, ensuring our productions maintain their creative essence throughout the tour.

Mermaid Theatre is seeking organized and collaborative individuals for two exciting productions:
The Three Little Pigs & Other Tales and Ocean Blue. Responsibilities include managing technical cues, fostering a positive environment, and serving as the liaison to our home office. Touring experience is essential for maintaining seamless operations in diverse venues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain artistic integrity through all touring phases

• Manage technical cues for lighting, projection, and sound

• Facilitate load-ins and loadouts at various venues

• Act as a liaison between touring company and home office

• Foster a professional environment for the cast and crew

Requirements:

• CAEA membership or equivalent experience preferred

• Proven touring logistics and technical management

• Valid driver’s license with clean record

• Must have valid passport and P2 Visa eligibility

• Proactive attitude and passion for children's theatre
