Housing Manager

What youll do Build trusted relationships with customers across your patch and local communities. Take ownership of housing issues from first contact through to resolution. Manage anti-social behaviour cases early to keep neighbourhoods safe and welcoming. Carry out estate inspections and work with contractors to keep homes compliant. Work with partners to support customers and protect income for reinvestment. You have You have experience in housing management or a similar customer focused role.

You have confidence managing anti-social behaviour and complex customer situations. You have knowledge of housing law, safeguarding, and sustaining tenancies. You have strong organisation skills and take ownership from start to finish. You have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle. Stronger together We do our best work when were ourselves. The practical bits This is a full time role working predominantly Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm. However, flexibility is key both for our customers and for your work life balance so these times are not set in stone. This is predominately a community based role and we would expect you to be out and about in your patch, speaking to customers for the majority of the week.

But of course there is admin work and you can do this with a mix of home working and office working. We do like to see our colleagues drop into the office at least twice a week. Youll cover a patch within the area of Whitehaven, working across local neighbourhoods and communities. You need a vehicle insured for business use, and we pay your mileage.

You need an Enhanced DBS check that we pay for.
