Recruitment Events Assistant

Position: Recruitment Events Assistant Hybrid Role
Join the recruitment team as a Part Time Recruitment Events Assistant at Mohawk College, working up to 24 hours per week in a hybrid setting. You'll coordinate and support various recruitment events that engage prospective students and promote diversity.

As an Events Assistant, you will help manage event logistics, respond to inquiries, and track participant attendance. Reporting directly to the Manager of Recruitment, your role is vital in delivering successful recruitment activities that reflect our commitment to equity and inclusion. Ensure every event meets the expectations of diverse stakeholders while also adapting to changing schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and organize event materials and promotional items

• Respond to email inquiries for recruitment events

• Track and report attendance for follow-up evaluations

• Assist in planning campus tours and special events

• Provide logistical support on event days

Requirements:

• 1 year certificate in business or event planning

• 2 years' experience in post-secondary event management

• Understanding of human rights and equity practices

• Strong interpersonal skills for diverse interactions

• Potential support for larger college events
