Virtual Events Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy Virtual Events Coordinator to join their fully remote team, supporting their operations based out of Tembisa . You will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing a variety of online events, including webinars, virtual conferences, and online client engagement activities. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple digital platforms simultaneously, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all participants, contributing directly to client acquisition and retention strategies in the dynamic Gauteng virtual event landscape.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute virtual events from concept to completion, managing all logistical aspects.
• Manage and optimize event platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Hopin) to ensure smooth technical delivery and user experience.
• Develop event timelines, budgets, and communication plans for virtual events.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and content teams to define event objectives and ensure alignment.
• Provide technical support to speakers and attendees during live virtual events.
• Analyze event performance data and provide post-event reports with actionable insights.

• Proven experience in coordinating and executing virtual or hybrid events.
• Proficiency with virtual event platforms, webinar software, and related technologies.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with remote stakeholders.
• Experience in troubleshooting technical issues during live online events.
• A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field is preferred.
