Video Game Producer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Video Game Producer to join their remote-first team, based conceptually near Port Elizabeth . You will be the driving force behind key game development projects, overseeing the entire lifecycle from concept to release. This role demands exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will be pivotal in coordinating cross-functional teams, managing schedules, mitigating risks, and fostering a collaborative environment that empowers developers to do their best work, all while working remotely and contributing to the strategic direction of exciting new titles.

• Manage end-to-end production of game projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among development teams (art, design, programming, QA).
• Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks.
• Define and maintain project milestones, deliverables, and quality standards.
• Report on project status, progress, and key metrics to senior management and stakeholders.

• Proven experience as a Game Producer or Senior Project Manager in the games industry.
• Strong understanding of game development processes and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).
