About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and meticulous Event Planning Specialist to join their team in Benoni . This role involves the conceptualization, planning, and execution of a wide range of events, from corporate functions and conferences to social gatherings. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision, manage budgets, coordinate vendors, and ensure flawless event delivery. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses excellent project management skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, ensuring memorable experiences for all attendees.

• Plan and manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, AV, and décor.
• Develop event budgets and ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
• Coordinate with and manage external vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
• Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide regular updates on event progress.
• Oversee on-site event execution, ensuring smooth operations and resolving any issues promptly.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and client feedback analysis.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning or coordination.
• Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in event management software is a plus.
