About Into Games

Into Games is the social mobility charity for games - working to create more opportunities for people from under-represented and low-income backgrounds to access rewarding careers in the games industry.

We work with schools, colleges, universities and the games industry to provide inspiration, skills development, careers support and direct routes into meaningful, paid employment.

Slow Game Club is one of our most exciting and ambitious initiatives: a book club for video games that brings players together around thoughtfully curated games, conversations with developers and a growing global community. Every penny funds our social mobility work across the UK.

We are now looking for a Product Lead to take Slow Game Club into its next stage of growth.

The Role

The Product Lead will play a central role in the day-to-day running, development and commercial growth of Slow Game Club.

This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, making things happen and turning ideas into reality. You will oversee the delivery of Slow Game Club each month, coordinate activity across the wider team and work closely with partners, developers and publishers to ensure the product continues to grow.

Alongside managing the operational delivery of Slow Game Club, you will help shape its future. This includes identifying new product opportunities, developing commercial partnerships, improving the member experience and supporting the growth of new revenue streams.

You will work closely with the Chief Development Officer and have significant scope to take ownership of the product, contribute ideas and help build Slow Game Club into a leading consumer-facing product within the games industry.

  • Flexible hours outside of core team meetings and role responsibilities
  • Work remotely from anywhere in the world for up to 6 months a year

  • Equipment grant for a laptop or other tech needs
