About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly creative and organized Senior Event Planner to join their dynamic team based in Cape Town . This role involves conceptualizing, planning, and executing a wide range of events, from corporate functions to high-profile social gatherings. • Lead the planning and execution of diverse events, including budget management, vendor negotiation, and logistics coordination.
• Develop innovative event concepts and proposals tailored to client needs and strategic goals.
• Manage all aspects of event production, from initial brief to post-event analysis and reporting.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery.
• Oversee on-site event execution, ensuring seamless operations and a positive guest experience.
• Supervise and mentor junior event staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in event planning and management.
• Proven success in planning and executing a variety of events, both large and small scale.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of event technology, AV, and production requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and thrive under pressure.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field is advantageous.
