Senior VFX Artist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and imaginative Senior VFX Artist to join their cutting-edge entertainment production team, working remotely. You will be responsible for designing and implementing breathtaking particle effects, simulations, and other dynamic visual elements across various projects. • Create high-quality visual effects, including explosions, magic, fire, water, and other dynamic phenomena.
• Collaborate with directors, art directors, and technical directors to achieve the desired artistic vision for VFX.
• Develop and implement particle systems, simulations, and shaders using industry-standard tools.
• Optimize VFX assets for performance and real-time rendering in game engines or rendering pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to VFX production.
• Stay current with the latest trends and techniques in visual effects artistry and technology.

• Proven experience as a VFX Artist in film, television, or video games, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse effects.
• Proficiency in VFX software such as Houdini, Maya (Bifrost, nCloth), Unreal Engine, or Unity.
• Strong understanding of particle systems, physics simulations, and rendering techniques.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, MEL) is a plus.
• Excellent artistic eye and a deep understanding of composition, timing, and color theory.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
