ABOUT THE ROLE:Yellow Brick Games is hiring a Production Manager – Gameplay to join our team of experienced developers working on an exciting new IP. In this role, you will work closely with the Enemies and Player teams to ensure their production goals unfold smoothly. You will be responsible for contributing to the teams' production plan while accounting for cross-discipline dependencies, acting as a day-to-day facilitator, and maintaining alignment between these teams' work and the project's overall goals.
This role reports to the Director of Production and works in close collaboration with the Enemies and Player teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:- Production Planning: Contribute to the production plan for the Enemies and Player teams, identifying and integrating cross-discipline dependencies (design, animation, programming, art, audio, etc.).
- Facilitation: Act as a facilitator to keep production goals on track, anticipating and clearing obstacles encountered by the teams.
- Communication & Alignment: Ensure smooth communication within the teams and with stakeholders, and maintain ongoing alignment with the project's overall goals.
- Risk Management: Identify risks related to interdependencies between the Enemies and Player teams and propose solutions.
- Team Support: Support the teams in setting up their work plan, while respecting their autonomy in the day-to-day management of their tasks.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years in production management in game development, ideally on gameplay teams (player controls, combat, etc.).
- Cross-Discipline Understanding: Excellent understanding of the technical and creative dependencies between disciplines (design, programming, animation, art).
- Management Approaches: Solid knowledge of different project management approaches and agile-inspired tools.
- Communication & Facilitation: Strong communication and facilitation skills, with an ability to build trust within cross-disciplinary teams.
- Rigor: Strong organizational skills and rigor in tracking production plans.
- Languages: Professional bilingualism required — fluent in both English and French, spoken and written.
