About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Remote Esports Tournament Director to manage and execute online competitive gaming events from anywhere. You will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of esports tournaments, ensuring a fair, engaging, and seamless experience for players and viewers globally. This role requires a deep understanding of esports ecosystems, exceptional logistical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a remote setting, working autonomously to deliver top-tier competitive events.

• Plan, organize, and manage all aspects of online esports tournaments, from initial concept to post-event analysis.
• Develop tournament rulesets, schedules, and bracket structures, ensuring fairness and competitive integrity.
• Coordinate with game developers, publishers, casters, and production teams to ensure smooth event execution.
• Manage player communications, registration, and support throughout the tournament lifecycle.
• Monitor live events, troubleshoot technical issues, and make real-time decisions to ensure tournament flow.
• Conduct post-tournament reviews, analyze data, and provide reports on event performance and areas for improvement.

• Proven experience as a Tournament Director or similar role in the esports industry.
• In-depth knowledge of popular esports titles, game mechanics, and competitive formats.
• Familiarity with tournament management platforms and broadcasting tools.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders remotely.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a remote work environment.
