About the Role
Our client is seeking an energetic and engaging Remote Esports Community Manager to foster and grow vibrant online communities around their gaming initiatives. You will be the primary point of contact for players, moderators, and fans, creating a positive and interactive environment across various social media platforms and forums. This role requires a deep understanding of e-sports culture, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage online discussions effectively.

- Develop and implement community engagement strategies to foster a positive and active player base.
- Monitor and moderate online forums, social media channels, and Discord servers.
- Engage with community members, respond to inquiries, and facilitate discussions.
- Organise and promote community events, contests, and activities.
- Gather community feedback and report insights to the product and marketing teams.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key community influencers and advocates.
- Address and resolve community conflicts or issues in a fair and timely manner.
- Proven experience in community management, social media management, or a related role, preferably in the gaming or e-sports industry.
- In-depth knowledge of e-sports titles, gaming culture, and online community dynamics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with social media platforms, Discord, and community management tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and manage diverse groups.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.
