Event Planner

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and creative Event Planner to orchestrate memorable experiences for their clients, operating entirely remotely. You will manage all aspects of event planning, from conceptualization and budgeting to execution and post-event analysis. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong vendor management capabilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be instrumental in delivering seamless and impactful events within the vibrant Arts & Entertainment sector, working with clients across different geographical locations.

• Plan, organize, and execute a variety of events, including virtual, hybrid, and in-person, from initial concept through to completion.
• Develop detailed event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
• Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with vendors, including venues, caterers, A/V providers, and entertainment.
• Create comprehensive event timelines and manage all logistical aspects to ensure smooth operation.
• Develop event marketing and communication plans to drive attendance and engagement.
• Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering feedback and reporting on event success metrics.

• Proven experience (4+ years) as an Event Planner or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of successfully executed events.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in event management software and virtual event platforms.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders remotely.
• A deep understanding of the Arts & Entertainment industry and its specific event needs.
