Senior Sound Designer

Our client is seeking a creative and technically adept Senior Sound Designer to join their fully remote team, bringing their expertise to crafting immersive audio experiences for cutting-edge interactive projects. You will be responsible for the conceptualization, design, implementation, and integration of all sound elements, from ambient soundscapes to impactful sound effects and character vocalizations. This role requires a deep understanding of audio principles, a mastery of digital audio workstations (DAWs), and the ability to collaborate effectively with remote development teams to deliver a rich and compelling auditory dimension to their products.

• Design, record, edit, and mix high-quality sound effects, Foley, and ambient audio.
• Implement audio assets into game engines or interactive environments using middleware like Wwise or FMOD.
• Collaborate with game designers, programmers, and directors to define and execute the audio vision.
• Create dynamic and responsive audio systems that adapt to gameplay.
• Develop and maintain an organized audio asset library.
• Troubleshoot and optimize audio performance to ensure seamless playback.

• 5+ years of professional experience in sound design for video games or interactive media.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of sound design skills and creativity.
• Proficiency with industry-standard DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Reaper, Cubase) and audio middleware (e.g., Wwise, FMOD).
• Solid understanding of acoustics, signal processing, and audio implementation techniques.
• Ability to record and edit field audio and Foley effectively.
