Senior Narrative Designer

Our client is seeking a creative and experienced Senior Narrative Designer to craft compelling stories and worlds for their upcoming projects, working remotely. This role is fundamental to embedding rich narratives, engaging characters, and immersive lore into our game experiences. You will collaborate with game designers, writers, and artists to ensure a cohesive and impactful storytelling experience for players. • Develop and write compelling storylines, character backstories, and in-game lore.
• Design and implement narrative systems, dialogue trees, and quest structures.
• Collaborate with level designers and world builders to ensure narrative coherence within the game world.
• Work with voice actors and audio teams to ensure effective delivery of narrative content.
• Iterate on narrative content based on play testing feedback and design team input.
• Maintain narrative consistency and quality across all aspects of the game.

• 5+ years of experience in narrative design or writing for video games.
• Proven ability to write engaging dialogue, story arcs, and world-building elements.
• Experience with narrative scripting tools or game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine's Blueprints, Unity).
• Strong understanding of storytelling principles and interactive narrative techniques.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
