Event Manager - Sports & Fitness

Our client is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Event Manager to orchestrate a variety of sports and fitness events. This role operates within a fully remote capacity, focusing on the strategic planning and execution of events that promote active lifestyles and engagement within the Leisure & Sports sector. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of events, from initial concept and budgeting to final execution and post-event analysis.

• Develop detailed event budgets and manage expenses to ensure profitability and adherence to financial targets.
• Source and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and venues (where applicable for hybrid elements).
• Create and manage event timelines, ensuring all milestones are met on schedule.
• Develop and implement marketing and promotional plans to drive event registration and attendance.
• Oversee event operations on the day(s) of the event, coordinating staff and volunteers virtually.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in event management , with a strong focus on sports or fitness events.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and budgets in a remote or hybrid environment.
• Excellent organizational, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in event management software and virtual collaboration tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
