Music Composer

Our client is seeking a talented and versatile Music Composer to create original scores for a variety of projects in the Arts & Entertainment sector, working remotely from Rustenburg. You will be responsible for composing, producing, and delivering high-quality musical pieces that enhance the emotional impact and narrative of films, games, and other media. This role requires a deep understanding of musical theory, various genres, and the ability to translate creative briefs into compelling auditory experiences.

You will have the freedom to work from your own studio, collaborating digitally with our production teams.

• Compose original musical scores in various genres tailored to project requirements, such as film, games, and animation.
• Produce and mix high-fidelity audio tracks, ensuring professional quality and emotional resonance.
• Collaborate closely with directors and producers via remote communication tools to refine musical direction.
• Manage music licensing and rights, ensuring all compositions are original and cleared.
• Deliver final audio assets in specified formats and adhere to project deadlines for soundtrack development.

• Proven experience as a Music Composer with a strong portfolio of diverse musical works.
• Proficiency in music production software (DAWs) such as Logic Pro, Ableton Live, or Cubase.
• Strong understanding of music theory, orchestration, and various musical styles.
• Experience scoring for video games or film is highly desirable.
• Excellent remote communication and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
