Senior Concept Artist

Our client is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Concept Artist to join their dynamic digital arts team. This is a pivotal role where you will be instrumental in defining the visual identity and aesthetic for upcoming projects within the gaming and entertainment industries. Working remotely, you will collaborate closely with game designers, art directors, and other stakeholders to translate ideas and scripts into compelling visual concepts.

You will contribute to a culture of artistic excellence, pushing creative boundaries and mentoring junior artists, all within a supportive and forward-thinking remote work environment.

• Develop original concept art, including character designs, environment concepts, prop designs, and mood pieces.
• Collaborate with the art director and creative leads to establish and maintain the visual style and direction for projects.
• Create detailed storyboards and sketches to communicate complex ideas and narrative flows.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from various teams, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Mentor and provide constructive feedback to junior concept artists, fostering their growth.
• Maintain a high level of artistic quality and consistency across all created assets.

• Proven professional experience as a Concept Artist in the gaming or entertainment industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse artistic styles and subjects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard digital art software, including Photoshop , Procreate, and potentially 3D software (e.g., ZBrush, Blender).
• Excellent understanding of art fundamentals such as anatomy, perspective, color theory, and composition.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate artistic concepts clearly.
