Position: Remote Senior Technical Artist Role

As a pivotal member of Torn Banner Studios in Toronto, you’ll work closely with Art, Design, and Engineering teams. This role emphasizes designing and optimizing assets, building effective pipelines, and providing technical solutions that elevate our gaming experiences. Your experience in AAA game development will be essential for project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and optimize shaders, models, and textures

• Build and enhance workflows across development teams

• Innovate tools for artist needs in Unreal Engine

• Serve as the technical conduit within the project teams

• Troubleshoot and optimize for multiplayer gameplay

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years as a Technical Artist in the gaming industry

• Programming experience with HLSL, C++, or Python

• Background with AAA titles and character workflows

• Advanced knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 features

• Strong skills in performance optimization within game engines
