CompensationHourly base pay rate is $16.59 - $24.86/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Job DescriptionThe Title Specialist I (TS) position will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of vehicle titles by verifying title information is correct and interacting with clients and regulatory agencies to resolve title issues. Through training and mentoring, the Title Specialist I will develop their skill base and knowledge of relevant US Federal, State, and Territory title information, internal policies and procedures, and the Next Gear standard for customer service.
The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 9AM to 6PM.
Applicants must reside in:
California, Washington, Florida, Georgia, Texas, Ohio or Arizona
- Review titles for negotiability, sign and reassign titles on behalf of clients.
- Complete application for new title on behalf of clients as needed.
- Facilitate lien perfection on Next Gear Capital financed collateral when required.
- Release Next Gear Capital lien on collateral that has been paid in full according to policy & procedure.
- Communicate with internal and external clients to resolve title questions or requests via email, ServiceNOW ticket, and phone call.
- Answer routine questions, follow guidelines, and use judgment based on experience.
- Partner with more senior Title Specialists and Titles & Records leadership on complex title issues.
- Follow instructions and maintain workflow standards with integrity.
- Attain production, quality goals, and metric standards in accordance with Titles & Records department guidelines,
- such as productivity percentage, etc.
- Adhere to all Next Gear Capital & Cox Automotive company policies and procedures regarding attendance and conduct.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Additional assigned tasks as directed by Titles & Records leadership.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Generally, less than 2 years of experience
- Must have good organizational and time management skills.
- Must be detail orientated.
- Must display effective communication skills and customer service attitude.
- Previous Motor Vehicle Titling and/or Automotive Industry experience is preferred but not required.
