Senior Marketing Manager

We're looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join our team at The Columbo Group

The Columbo Group is the team behind some of the UK's most loved music, nightlife and hospitality brands, including Jazz Cafe, The Blues Kitchen, Phonox, The Old Queen's Head and The Parakeet. Alongside them sit festivals and events including Maiden Voyage, Eastern Electrics, Jazz Cafe Festival, plus Columbo Music, our live promotions and touring business.

We're looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead ticket sales and brand delivery for The Rex, our new 2,000-capacity music and events venue in East London. You'll own everything that sells a show, from paid ads and mailers to physical promotion, and you'll deliver the venue's brand from launch. This is a chance to shape how audiences discover and feel about one of London's most exciting new venues and to turn an empty diary into a sold-out room.

• Leading the marketing and promotion of The Rex’s live music programme.
• Planning and delivering multi-channel campaigns that drive ticket sales.
• Managing paid social campaigns through Meta Business Manager.
• Creating compelling copy across email, social media, web and advertising.
• Working closely with promoters, artists and management teams.
• Briefing photographers, videographers and designers to produce outstanding creative.
• Analysing campaign performance and continually improving results.
• Keeping a close eye on music, culture and audience trends to ensure our marketing stays fresh and relevant.

• Proven experience selling tickets for club nights, gigs or festivals across paid, email, social and physical promotion.
• Experience launching a brand, venue or product, or building an audience from nothing.
• A deep understanding of live music and nightlife audiences and how they discover what's on.
• Hands-on experience with Meta ads, email marketing and ticketing platforms.
• Strong creative judgement, with experience owning brand and social direction for a venue, brand or event.
• Data-led, reading sales data daily and adjusting campaigns quickly.
• Highly organised across multiple shows, on-sale dates and stakeholders at once.
• Confident working with artists, agents and promoters, and turning campaign plans into action.
• Hungry and proactive, with the senior-level ownership to run campaigns without close supervision.
