As Lead Animator, you will guide assigned animators, ensure character readiness, and help develop the show’s animation style. You will collaborate with Animation Directors, Supervisors, Production Management, and other departments while supporting effective sequence communication. Significant animation experience is expected.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead animators across assigned feature sequences
Complete rig, picker, and character development testing
Provide feedback and mentorship on animator shots
Attend dailies and reviews, contributing sequence input
Partner with production to keep shots scheduled
Requirements:
Minimum three years as senior animator on features
Proficiency in CG packages including Maya
Understanding of body mechanics and physicality
Strong acting and facial animation skills
Knowledge of animation pipelines and rigging setups
Bring leadership, character animation, and CG production expertise to feature sequences at Wild Brain Studios.
