Remote Corporate Event Planner

Our client, a leading provider of virtual and hybrid event solutions, is seeking an experienced and innovative Remote Corporate Event Planner. This position is fully remote, with the potential for travel to event sites as needed, and ideally located near Kimberley, Northern Cape . You will be responsible for the seamless planning, execution, and successful delivery of a wide range of corporate events, including conferences, product launches, team-building activities, and virtual gatherings.

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of successful corporate events, exceptional organizational skills, and proficiency in managing event logistics, budgets, and vendor relations, all within a remote work environment. You will leverage technology to create engaging and impactful experiences for clients and their attendees.

• Plan, organize, and execute corporate events (virtual, hybrid, and in-person) from concept to completion.
• Develop event strategies, themes, and detailed proposals aligned with client objectives.
• Manage event budgets effectively, ensuring cost control and profitability.
• Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with venues, vendors, and suppliers.
• Oversee event logistics, including AV, catering, accommodation, and transportation where applicable.
• Coordinate virtual event platforms, registration, and online engagement strategies.
• Provide exceptional client service, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the planning process.
• Develop and manage event timelines, production schedules, and contingency plans.
• Ensure all events adhere to quality standards, brand guidelines, and safety protocols.
• Conduct post-event analysis and provide comprehensive reports to clients.

• A Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate event planning, with a significant portion in managing virtual or hybrid events.
• Proven ability to manage complex event logistics, budgets, and vendor contracts.
• Strong understanding of virtual event platforms and technologies.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, adaptable to remote collaboration.
• Proficiency in event management software and standard office productivity suites.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high-quality experiences.
• Flexibility to travel occasionally for on-site event support.
