Senior E-Sports Tournament Director

You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of tournaments, including logistics, broadcasting, player relations, and ensuring a fair and engaging competition for all participants and viewers. • Plan, organize, and execute all aspects of e-sports tournaments, from initial concept to post-event analysis.
• Develop tournament formats, rulesets, and schedules, ensuring fairness and competitiveness.
• Manage relationships with game publishers, teams, players, and sponsors.
• Oversee the technical aspects of online tournament infrastructure, including matchmaking, server management, and anti-cheat measures.
• Coordinate with broadcast teams to ensure high-quality live streaming production and commentary.
• Manage budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation for tournaments.
• Develop and implement player support systems and communication channels.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant e-sports regulations and ethical standards.
• Analyze tournament data to identify trends, assess performance, and provide recommendations for future events.
• Lead and mentor junior tournament staff and volunteers involved in event execution.

• Proven experience (5+ years) in managing and directing e-sports tournaments, with a strong portfolio of successfully executed events.
• In-depth knowledge of the e-sports landscape, including popular game titles, professional teams, and player communities.
• Experience with various tournament platforms and e-sports broadcasting software.
• Strong understanding of online gaming infrastructure, network requirements, and common technical challenges.
• Exceptional organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control costs.
