TikTok Shop Host - In-Studio Remote

A Tik Tok Shop LIVE Host at CTC is the on-camera face of the brands we work with, hosting live shopping streams from our Costa Mesa studio. You combine four skill sets in one role:
Creator, Entertainer, Salesperson, and Operator. Your job is to hold attention long enough to turn entertainment into commerce. We are looking for hosts who can run a show, rather than repeat the product, the discount, and “click the basket” on a loop. You will start with one brand, and strong performers will be offered ongoing work across our roster of 50+ brands.

LIVE SHOW HOSTING

• You host scheduled Tik Tok Shop live streams from our studio, building a show with fast demos, challenges, audience voting, giveaways, timed offers, and recurring segments that give viewers a reason to stay even when they are not ready to buy

ON-CAMERA PRESENCE

• You are natural on camera with a high-energy, personable style

PRODUCT DEMONSTRATION

• You demonstrate products and share key benefits naturally and authentically
• You follow a brief while improvising in real time when comments, inventory, or offers change

AUDIENCE ENGAGEMENT

• You engage chat, answer questions, handle objections, and keep energy high from open to close

PERFORMANCE ACCOUNTABILITY

• You hit sales and engagement goals tied to bonus incentives and review performance with our live ops team to refine pitches, segments, and pacing week over week

RELIABILITY

• You are consistently reliable and show up prepared to be the face of a repeatable show, with reliable transportation to our Costa Mesa studio

TIKTOK SHOP / SOCIAL COMMERCE EXPERIENCE

• You bring experience with live streaming, Tik Tok Shop, or on-camera sales

CONTENT CREATION BACKGROUND

• You have experience with UGC, content creation, or on-camera performance

• This role does not have direct reports

• This role is client-facing. You are the on-camera face of the brands we work with during live streams

• IC | Days & Weeks:
  You prepare for and run scheduled live sessions, refining pitches, segments, and pacing week over week

• In-studio:
  You film on site at CTC’s space in Costa Mesa, CA. Open to candidates in Orange County and LA

• 5–10 hours per week, with consistent availability for recurring weekly streams

COMPENSATION

• $50 hourly base rate, plus performance bonus incentives tied to sales and engagement goals
