This role offers the opportunity to influence key accounting policies, collaborate across teams, and tackle complex challenges with confidence and creativity.

* *** his is a senior, individual contributor role, reporting to the Senior Director.
**** Responsibilities
* ** Lead technical accounting research and provide clear guidance on emerging GAAP, SEC, and statutory requirements.
* Partner with business leaders to assess the impact of new accounting standards and implement solutions that drive compliance and efficiency.
* Consult on complex transactions, including M&A and investment strategies, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
* Develop and deliver training to finance teams, fostering knowledge and best practices across the organization.
* Monitor industry developments and proactively recommend policy enhancements to support strategic growth.
** Qualifications
* ** Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in technical accounting or policy management.
* Deep knowledge of GAAP, SEC, and statutory requirements.
* Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
* CPA certification required, MBA a plus
* Experience in healthcare, insurance, or investment accounting.
* Proven ability to build business partnerships and deliver results in a hybrid work environment.  If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10
