A Top Tier Management Consulting firm with a vibrant, entrepreneurial culture is looking to expand its Accounting Advisory team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting complex accounting functions and driving technical expertise across the finance team.

• Conduct ongoing reviews of recurring accounting areas that require estimates, judgments, and complexity, such as revenue, compensation, and goodwill impairment, while documenting position papers.
• Develop and present training materials to segment and regional finance teams on topics like revenue and leases.
• Assist with the review and preparation of Forms 10-Q, Form 10-K, and related public presentations.
• Draft technical accounting position papers for new and significant accounting transactions, including purchase accounting and contingent consideration.
• Prepare quarterly documentation of key accounting issues for management, including the Controller, CFO, Disclosure Committee, and Audit Committee, and communicate the financial statement impact.
• Monitor the segment finance team’s compliance with ongoing SOX requirements, particularly around revenue and compensation.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors to fulfill audit requirements related to revenue recognition and new transactions.
• Review quarterly quantitative and qualitative revenue recognition disclosures.

• 5 - 7 years of total finance and accounting experience including time spent with "Big 4" public accounting/audit.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited university in the United States.
• Active CPA license required.
