Financial Planning Specialist

The primary responsibility of the Financial Planning Specialist is to serve as the central point of contact between the Firm’s Financial Advisors and the Home Office. The Financial Planning Specialist ensures that all requests are properly routed, promoting consistency and clear communication throughout the process. They also oversee the tracking, processing, and assignment of all Financial Planning requests and may be included in client meetings.

  • Delivers a diversified set of investment and risk management solutions with a financial planning mindset to meet the individualized needs of current and potential clients.
  • Work with existing advisors and their clients to serve as subject matter experts on financial planning.
  • Manage the workflow between Financial Advisors, Coordinators, and the Home Office to ensure timely and efficient handling of tasks.
  • Understands and adheres to firm’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls.
  • Use sales tools and modules to conduct analysis to offer the best solutions.
  • Builds a referral channel by developing a strong partnership with Advisors to ensure the needs of current and potential customers are met.
  • Process and monitor all Financial Plan requests.
  • Prepare correspondence and follow the team’s progress through various metrics.
  • Provide marketing presentations, training, and disseminating information to Advisors.
  • Promote the firm’s financial planning value proposition.
  • Other projects as needed.
