This unique position of Branch Flex Banker (Float) requires an individual to have previous banking experience and the ability to adapt to a changing environment. This position supports a hybrid on-site/remote work schedule based on assignment. Travel is required within our Branch Network, with a home base at the Customer Solutions Center in Richmond, RI. Premium pay will be considered.

• Process customer transactions accurately while actively engaging with the customer
• Understand and apply bank policies and procedures
• Provide a superior banking experience for the customer through a relationship building approach
• Proactively seek and recommend the best products and services to fit the customer’s needs
• Contribute to the achievement of sales objectives
• Accurately and efficiently process and manage customer transactions
• Understand and navigate various bank systems and equipment (ATMs, cash counting machines, cash recycler)

• Flexibility to adapt to ongoing schedule and location changes, as well as business change
• Enthusiasm for working with customers
• Possessing the initiative to be successful
• Proven experience in a customer service environment, prior banking, or financial services
• An understanding of personal finance which includes bank products and services
• Experience handling cash and processing transactions
• Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate various banking computer systems
• Experience dealing with confidential customer information
• Strong interpersonal skills
• The ability to initiate and maintain conversations that result in customer trust and banking relationships
• Great listening skills to identify products and services to meet customer needs
