PositionSummary
Torch Clean Energy is seeking a highly motivated FP&A Manager to support the company’s development, finance, and accounting efforts. This is a hybrid role based in Boulder, CO, reporting to the CFO.
What You’ll DoTorch is a small team valuing members who are comfortable and excited to develop a diverse skill set. This role will primarily work directly with the CFO to support our development accounting and loan administration efforts for project, tax equity, and corporate financing. This includes working with lenders and partners on monthly and annual compliance efforts and financial reporting. Additionally, this person will be responsible for:
- Corporate and project budgeting and monitoring
- Collaborate with 3rd party audit and accounting partners
- Accounting, AP & AR support, particularly as we transition some responsibilities away from 3rd party management to create more internal accounting efficiencies (accounting entries, matching budget to actual in financial modelling, etc.)
- Supporting the administration and procurement of insurance, Letters of Credit and Sureties, derivative transactions, and other financial instruments
- Tax and SALT monitoring, strategy, and compliance
- Other opportunities under the scope of the CFO’s office
- 2+ years of accounting and development accounting experience and/or administration of loan draws and loan administration experience
- Proven ability to work with Asset Managers on budgets and monthly reports
- Experience executing draw requests, creating monthly reports, and other detailed loan administration duties
- Experience or interest in greater involvement in the solar/renewables industry
- Experience with basic accounting software and Microsoft Suite
