You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drives outcomes.

What role will you play?

You will be responsible for the credit review and analysis of Macquarie’s Commodities and Global Markets corporate counter parties in the Asia region. You will work closely with global credit offices to provide credit limit recommendations supported by thorough analysis, and work with Macquarie's business groups to opine on new products and/or new transactions, making appropriate recommendations to the credit approvers.

You will assist with the structuring of transactions where relevant, reviewing legal terms as well as providing general advice and analysis to the Commodity Markets and Finance division. Working in partnership with various business units, you will assess a wide range of commodity related transactions, which includes both physical and derivatives. This is a high profile team who deals extensively with senior management and your ability to effectively manage and analyse transactions is key to this role.

Additionally, you will monitor the credit quality and global exposure of your portfolio, staying current with industry and economic trends to address credit concerns.

What You Offer

  • High degree of ownership, delivery and timeliness in a fast-paced, output-focused environment
  • Comfortable planning and re‑prioritising workload in an unpredictable environment
  • 1 to 2 years of regional (Asia) credit risk experience in a large financial institution or commodities house preferred but not essential

We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us; if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.
