Senior Auditor

Formos is seeking a senior financial auditor to join our widely recognized client service team. The position is based in Nashville.

• Develop an understanding of leading risk assessment methodologies. Assist in the identification and communication of risk.
• Leverage knowledge of governance, risk, and control concepts and industry trends to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our clients' risk management processes.
• Ensure the execution of all audit activities in planning, testing, reviewing, reporting, and wrap-up phases is in accordance with Firm and applicable standards.
• Analyze to identify the root cause of issues and provide input for developing recommendations and action plans.
• Prepare client deliverables related to risk insight, remediation plans, project status, and other relevant topics.
• Lead process walkthroughs and develop process documentation.
• Communicate to client management through meetings, presentations, internal audit reports, and other means.
• Establish, foster and maintain effective working relationships with clients and peers.

A background in either external auditing, internal auditing, or accounting is preferred.

Background knowledge in the healthcare industry is also preferred, for example: healthcare information systems, healthcare revenue cycle, facility operations, managed care, etc.

While client service can be demanding, this position also provides a great deal of flexibility. Our team members set their own schedules and balance working from home, the office, and at client sites. Overtime needs vary widely based on client project demands, but our teams average meaningfully less overtime than national firms.

The position is in the Nashville, TN area. Formos does not currently sponsor H1B.
