Joining H&R Block as a Remote Tax Professional means serving clients with diverse tax needs with support from an expert team and advanced tax training to help you be successful.

• Conduct tax interviews with clients and support do-it-yourself online tax clients through virtual tools (video conferencing, phone, chat, email).
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Collaborate with leaders and peers; communicate regularly about how remote work affects results.
• Grow your tax expertise.

• Experience completing individual tax returns.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Access to high-speed, reliable internet.
• Experience with technology (MS Teams and Outlook).
• Ability to communicate complex tax situations clearly via phone, email, and chat to inspire client confidence.
• Strong customer service skills; analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
• High school diploma or higher; ability to complete continuing education requirements and meet IRS/state requirements.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours a week during peak tax season.
• Tax research skills using various tax publications to understand client needs.

Pay range information is provided below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Total compensation may include incentive plans and benefits. Eligible associates may participate in medical, retirement, and other programs.

Pay Range
: $11.00 - $80.00 per hour.
