• Conduct tax interviews with clients and support do-it-yourself online tax clients through virtual tools (video conferencing, phone, chat, email).
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Understand that teamwork is essential to our success — communicate and coordinate regularly with leaders and peers about how your remote work is impacting results.
• Grow your tax expertise.

• Provide advanced tax training and assist clients with diverse tax needs in a remote setting.
• Support clients with tax planning, audit support experience, and related services.
• Engage in virtual tax interviews to build client confidence and deliver high-quality service.

• Experience completing individual tax returns and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Access to high-speed, reliable internet and proficient with MS Teams and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate complex tax situations concisely via phone, email and chat.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification (preferred) and/or 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment2 or equivalent.
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher; continuing education requirements and IRS/state requirements as applicable.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during peak tax season.

The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Information posted to provide applicants with potential earnings. Pay decisions depend on experience, education, and location. Benefits include medical coverage, 401k, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, and Tax prep benefit. Virtual/remote opportunities and flexible work arrangements are also available.

Pay Range: $11.00 - $80.00/Hr.
