Actuarial Manager - Countrywide Indications; Remote

Summary

We are seeking a strong actuarial leader with exceptional analytical, communication, and pricing skills, along with insurance product management experience for a Product Management role. The position is responsible for developing and continuously improving our pricing indications, expense, and profit allocations as part of the Homeowners Center of Excellence. The candidate will report to the Rate making AVP. This position will supervise a team of actuaries and collaborate cross functionally across rate making and the broader product management organization in this highly visible, cross functional role.

• Develop repeatable and technically efficient process for delivering actuarial rate indications by state, program, product, channel, and operating company
• Develop and execute roadmap for continuous improvement in indications process which gives the business visibility into upcoming changes and the impact of those changes
• Research cutting edge actuarial methodology and incorporate findings in actuarial rate indications to provide accuracy of deliverables
• Develop robust process for quantifying and allocating expenses by state, program, product, channel, and operating company
• Develop process for capital allocation, considering enterprise exposure to perils and enterprise growth plans

• Relevant
  
  Experience:
  
  A minimum of 10 years of professional actuarial experience;
• Educational Credentials: A bachelor's degree and FCAS designation is required;
