Position Overview

As a Senior Accountant based in Plano, TX, you’ll take ownership of core financial operations. You’ll handle journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting while contributing to process improvements and system upgrades. We’re looking for people who are flexible, adaptable, and bring a “let’s figure it out” approach to the table.

You’ll make an impact by

• Preparing journal entries, performing balance sheet reconciliations and analyzing financial results to ensure accuracy and completeness as part of our month and quarter‑end close activities.
• Applying expert judgment to evaluate and interpret complex financial transactions, ensuring proper classification and compliance with GAAP and Siemens' internal accounting standards.
• Supporting global process standardization and system efficiency improvements.
• Participating in the rollout of our new SAP ERP system (S/4
  
  Hana), including user acceptance testing and data migration.
• Collaborating with finance and business partners to deliver high‑quality accounting guidance that enables informed decision‑making and drives operational success.

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Relevant work experience in a similar role and solid accounting knowledge.
• Experience with financial close and reporting systems.
• Experience with data visualization and analytics tools.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and strong work ethic.
• Fluency in Spanish.
• Ability to collaborate with our finance and business teams in the office for 2-3 days per week.

The pay range for this position is $84,000.00 - $ annually with a target incentive of HPB of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
