Research Support Specialist – Grants & Finance; Remote

• Collaborate with Principal Investigators and administrators to prepare for financial demands of large-scale research projects
• Provide guidance on budgeting, financial planning, and procurement strategies to ensure compliance
• Analyze financial and compliance issues related to research projects and implement corrective actions
• Serve as a subject matter expert in research accounting and budgeting across campus
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies in all areas of research financial management

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in research accounting, budgeting, procurement, or financial management
• Certified Research Administrator (CRA) certification (at hire or obtained within 18 months of hire)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders

• Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MPA, or relevant field)
