• Serve as a subject-matter expert in the Income Tax Fraud Prevention program and assist audit teams
• Conduct detailed audits of individual income tax, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance
• Maintain and manage taxpayer accounts, including resolving fraud holds and adjusting tax liabilities
• Support the operational effectiveness of fraud prevention systems and represent the organization at hearings
• Stay current on taxation laws and best practices through ongoing research and professional development

• Minimum of two (2) years of related experience as an Auditor or equivalent
• Knowledge of individual income and withholding tax policies and Arizona tax statutes
• Proficient in using a PC/laptop in a Windows environment and Google Suite applications
• Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and active listening
• Ability to clear a comprehensive background and clearance process

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or closely related field
• Experience with Continuous Improvement/LEAN methodologies
