Position OverviewWe are in search of a Relationship Manager I/II/III to join our Credit Resolution Team in Tulare, Bakersfield, Hanford, or Dinuba, California. This full‑time position reports to the SVP, Lending and is accountable for ensuring timely correction and collection of adversely classified loan portfolio through service and proactive management. After an initial in‑office training period, the position is eligible for workplace flexibility and a one‑time home office stipend.
Employees are expected to work from an office location at least 50–60% of the time, depending on location.
Level I:
Typical starting range: $70,800 – $95,400
Full base salary range: $70,800 – $107,700
Annual performance‑based incentive target is 12% of base.
Level II:
Typical starting range: $78,000 – $107,400
Full base salary range: $78,000 – $134,400
Annual performance‑based incentive target is 15% of base.
Level III:
Typical starting range: $95,400 – $134,100
Full base salary range: $96,400 – $186,700
Annual performance‑based incentive target is 20% of base.
- Participate in internal work groups assuring annual analysis and confirmation of appropriate credit classification is completed.
- Maintain effective relationship management including analyzing, interpreting, and presenting financial information and meeting with and negotiating terms and conditions with assigned accounts, which may include attending meetings with legal counsel and customer meetings as assigned.
- Classify loans and loan data attributes including recommended charge‑offs/reserves, cash income accounting and allowances on assigned loans, report portfolio quality, statistics, and loan activity to supervisor.
- Collaborate with the Lending and Insurance Group by participating in large OAEM servicing/shadowing to assure sound risk management and guidance for high‑risk credit relationships with an above average potential of downgrade to an adversely classified loan classification.
- Establish valuations of real estate, personal property and other collateral.
- Develop and demonstrate a sound understanding of loan pricing programs, models and tools.
- Gather financial information and assist in credit investigations, public record searches, employment/income verifications, and customer visits.
- Handle customer information with a high degree of confidentiality, follow appropriate information security protocols and ensure media inquiries and requests are referred to appropriate staff.
- Participate in loan closings by ensuring the appropriate documentation is completed and understood by the customer.
- Represent and communicate the values, purpose, and mission of the organization to employees, customers, the public, and other target audiences.
- Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic understanding of financial statements and analysis.
- Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate terms on behalf of the organization for low complexity and smaller size relationships, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to travel to perform certain required duties.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Understanding of production agriculture.
- Ability to perform cash flow projections and trend analysis interpretation.
