Position Summary
The Grants Closure Consultant is a highly organized, meticulous, and experienced professional to manage a portfolio of over 20 subgrantees. The Grants Closure Consultant will be the primary point of contact for our sub‑grantees, ensuring the smooth execution of their projects, compliance with financial and programmatic requirements, and the production of high-quality donor and impact reports.
This role requires strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to achieving impactful results through our partners.
Subgrantee Implementation Support and Closeout- Provide technical and logistical assistance to subgrantees to ensure the successful and timely finalization of project implementation activities.
- Monitor subgrantee progress against approved work plans, identifying potential roadblocks and proactively collaborating with partners to develop effective solutions.
- Lead the subgrant closeout process, ensuring all contractual obligations are met, final reports are submitted, and all documentation is archived in compliance with organizational and donor requirements.
- Ensure subgrantees provide accurate, timely, and complete finance and program reports in accordance with subgrant agreements and donor guidelines.
- Review and verify subgrantees’ financial documentation, working closely with them to reconcile expenditures and address any discrepancies.
- Conduct virtual check‑ins to verify reported activities and expenditures, and support on reporting standards as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the Finance Department to efficiently collect and consolidate all relevant financial and programmatic data from the portfolio of subgrantees.
- Compile, analyze, and synthesize this collected data to produce comprehensive, accurate, and high‑quality donor reports that meet all contractual obligations and deadlines.
- Act as the central liaison between subgrantees, the organization’s finance team, and program leadership to streamline data flow and reporting processes.
Education
:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Development, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience
:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in grants management, preferably with significant experience managing a high volume of subgrantees (20+).
