This role is part of our Investment Accounting team, responsible for managing investment transactions and supporting the financial reporting of investment portfolios.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; VBA/macro experience preferred.
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and time‑management skills.
• Advanced user of SAP, BW or similar systems preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and ASC.
• Knowledge of insurance/investment accounting principles preferred.
• Strong experience performing financial analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
• General understanding of investment products preferred.

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Four years of professional work experience in investments or related accounting/reporting.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience also considered.

• Analyzes and reconciles complex investment transactions on a daily basis and updates the investment accounting sub‑ledger.
• Participates in accounting and reporting of real estate owned (REO) investments.
• Assists with training and development of junior team members.
• Supports junior team members in resolving complex issues during daily processing.
• Coordinates activities with the Global Investments Division on discrepancies or issues regarding investment transactions, ensuring effective resolution.
• Maintains effective relationships with business partners, including Accounting Policy, Tax, Financial Reporting, Global Investments, and internal/external auditors.
• Assists in developing and implementing new applications and analytical models, or enhancing existing systems and processes.
• Promotes continuous improvement by eliminating manual processes, enhancing procedures, and recommending improvements.
• Provides direct support to the investment accounting management team.
• Performs other duties as required.
