Location: Elgin, IL | Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day work from home

Reporting to the Operational Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in driving performance across both corporate and divisional operations. This position offers the opportunity to shape key financial processes, influence strategic decision-making, and lead initiatives that optimize ROA, strengthen working capital, elevate performance benchmarking, and enhance forecasting and analysis across the organization.

Responsibilities:- Benchmark divisional results using KPIs such as ROA, working capital, inventory turns, DSO, headcount, and bad debt. Analyze forecasts and variances to spot trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Review financial results for adherence to internal controls and US GAAP.
- Work closely with divisional leaders to implement cost‑saving initiatives, support strategic projects, and influence operational decision‑making.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities while helping streamline and align company‑wide close procedures.
- Guide to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting.
- Conduct balance sheet reviews, with emphasis on inventory and reserves, and deliver actionable insights.
- Prepare internal management reports and tackle ad‑hoc analysis that supports leadership’s priority initiatives.
- Assist in developing and implementing corporate financial policies and controls that support scalable growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, accounting, or finance.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal control frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- High integrity, strong credibility, and a collaborative mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex data into clear, concise recommendations.
