Sr Tax Analyst - Remote

• Prepare quarterly and year-end tax provisions, as well as federal, state, and local tax returns
• Maintain internal controls for SOX 404 compliance and ensure timely filing of tax returns
• Minimize tax liability by applying current tax laws effectively and efficiently
• Research tax issues, document findings, and establish support for tax positions
• Interact with internal and external auditors to facilitate necessary audits

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent technical/business experience
• 3-5 years of corporate income tax experience, including federal and multistate tax experience
• 4-7 years of relevant work experience
• Strong knowledge of Internal Revenue Code sections, state tax rules, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• CPA preferred

• Experience in preparing governmental tax returns and claims for tax refunds
• Familiarity with SEC requirements and other relevant tax and accounting regulations
• Proven ability to investigate and respond to notices from taxing authorities
• Experience with financial statement tax footnote disclosures
• Completion of special projects assigned by management
