Position: Actuarial Consultant - E&S Contract Pricing - REMOTE

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Drive pricing strategy and profitability for Contract Property & Casualty and Contract Excess products
  • Monitor the book of business, lead rate reviews, and manage business partner requests
  • Conduct complex analyses and present findings to inform business strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on larger projects to achieve organizational goals
  • Develop work plans and ensure accurate delivery of work products
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous actuarial experience with a focus on pricing
  • Near Associate with pursuit of Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS/FCAS) preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience working with underwriters and a proven track record of driving strategic decisions
  • Proficiency in actuarial software and programming tools (e.g., Python, SQL, Databricks, R, Excel)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • 5 or more years of actuarial experience
  • Detailed knowledge of actuarial business functions and statistical methods of analysis
  • Experience with predictive modeling and data mining techniques
  • Ability to prepare and present actuarial findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong leadership skills and competencies in problem-solving and customer focus
