Corporate Tax Associate

Join Cooper Parry as a Part Qualified Tax Associate or Tax Assistant and grow within our evolving Corporate Tax team. This role is based in our newly refurbished Thames Valley hub in central Reading.

About

The Role

We are looking for a motivated tax professional to support a diverse portfolio of clients and deliver tailored tax solutions.

Day to Day Responsibilities
  • Managing a portfolio of clients ranging from large businesses, private equity backed and OMBs
  • Preparing corporate tax computations and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
  • Supporting tax disclosures for statutory accounts
  • Actively managing client and internal deadlines
  • Collaborating with senior team members to develop and implement tax strategies
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships and delivering exceptional service
  • Staying informed on changes in tax regulations and industry best practices
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to tax projects
About You
  • Part qualified in a relevant qualification (e.g., ATT, ACA)
  • Experience in a tax or accounting role, ideally within an accountancy practice
  • Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive mindset and genuine interest in tax
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage multiple tasks
