Weavve is a multi-channel business spanning both B2C and B2B segments, across e-commerce and physical retail. We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Finance Executive to support day-to-day operations within our eCommerce and retail business. This role ensures that payments and transactions smoothly, and our financial data is organized and insightful. The ideal candidate excels at managing thorough systems (our set up is highly automated through multiple integrated systems) and automation, while helping their teammates with actionable data.

• Checking, booking and classification of revenue and cost transactions
• Processing of payments including monthly payroll and expenses, CPF and vendor payments
• Maintaining schedules including depreciation, prepayments, accruals and control accounts, managing accounts receivable
• Assisting monthly, quarterly and annual close, ensuring accuracy of the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement and performing reconciliations
• Working to support audit
• Preparation and filing of GST submissions every quarter
• Preparing financial statements, sales reports and other reports, including management accounts that shows various views of the business

We’re not looking for someone with every skill checked off. What matters most to us, is good attention to detail, a customer first mentality and a learning mindset.

• Experience with GL entries and financial statements preparation
• Understanding of inventory, receivables / payables, tax accounting
• Understanding or ability to learn how to manage books for various entities and perform consolidation
• Attention to detail and proficient in data entry. Able to work unsupervised with no errors in data / compilation work.
• Familiarity or ability to learn how to operate systems like Shopify, Shopee, Lazada and payment gateways
• Familiarity with Xero or similar accounting systems; familiarity with HR/payroll and inventory management systems
• You are comfortable with spreadsheets and data tools (Google Sheets, Excel), as well as Microsoft Office / Google Workspace. You are tech-savvy with the ability to learn new software quickly.
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• You are highly organized with strong multitasking ability, prioritization skills and attention to detail.
• You have strong problem-solving skills, are outcome focused, and have the ability to work independently in a remote environment, while knowing when to check in with team mates when necessary.
• You embrace flexible hours, knowing that cross-border operations and time-sensitive campaigns are part of the e-commerce landscape.
