** In this role you will:
*** Perform month-end close activities, ensuring timely completion
* Execute calculation and posting of various accounting processes, including accruals, reclassifications, allocations, and other period-end journal entries
* Perform payroll accounting, including posting entries and reconciliation
* Perform fixed assets accounting activities and support assets management
* Complete balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies
* Prepare and submit statistical reports to authorities
* Calculate and declare local taxes
* Review various accounting transactions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting policies and internal guidelines
* Provide guidance and support regarding G/L balances
* Participate in local and global projects and implement process changes
* Support audit inquiries by providing documentation and explanations in a timely and professional manner
* Collaborate with various departments to ensure financial records are accurate and completed on time
* Provide support to business markets within the European operations (close collaboration with Finance Managers) of VELUX Group and outsourced operations in India
* Maintain complete documentation and procedures
* Prepare diverse financial reporting and analysis
* Provide ad-hoc support
** Our requirements
*** 1–3 years of relevant RTR experience within SSC/BPO
* In-depth knowledge of the Record to Report process, financial accounting and controlling
* Practical experience in implementing continuous improvements; accounting qualifications are an additional asset
* Fluent communication in English is a must;
German, French or another European language is a plus
* An ownership mentality: readiness to engage directly and drive the resolution of complex financial issues
* Prior work experience with SAP is an advantage
* Proficiency in Excel
* Experience in training junior team members, sharing knowledge with colleagues and acting as a role model
* Readiness to engage with new ideas and adjust plans as needed
* Proficient communication skills and a constructive mindset toward tasks
