As a Senior Consultant (f/m/d) in the field of insurance with a focus on risk management / underwriting, you will support the implementation of state-of-the-art concepts, design complex analyses and test new approaches using prototyping. In addition, you are actively involved in projects and workshops with customers. You will take on a variety of tasks:
- Development of concepts for solving technical issues in the field of risk management of (re) insurance companies[MK1] as well as the development of prototypes
- Perform quantitative analyses with customer data
- Project management and technical supervision of implementation projects as well as coordination with experts on cross-topic issues
- Monitoring of regulatory developments in the EU and worldwide as well as research on current risk issues
- Creation of customer presentations
- University degree in a quantitative discipline e.g. mathematics, physics or a comparable degree
- At least 3 – 5 years of professional experience in the (re) insurance industry, preferably in risk management or underwriting
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks, risk categories and different risk masses
- Initial knowledge of economic valuation methods and risk-based solvency systems, e.g. Solvency II, SST
- Experienced in the use of MS Office products, ideally as a power user
- Willingness to travel
