Job OverviewAs a financial advisor with Edward Jones, you will develop and grow your own practice, supported by branch associates, a home‑office team, and other regional financial advisors. Key Responsibilities- Build relationships to create new clients through face‑to‑face and virtual sourcing strategies (e.g., residential, business, networking, introductions, referrals, social media, speaking engagements).
- Deeply understand clients’ and prospective clients’ needs, priorities, and concerns to accelerate trust and create personalized, comprehensive strategies that help them achieve their goals.
- Oversee branch processes, roles, and responsibilities to ensure a high‑quality, streamlined client experience in line with firm policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines.
- Engage the branch team to create, monitor, and adjust the branch business plan to increase effectiveness and achieve desired business results.
- Create a highly engaging environment in the branch based on mutual trust, respect, feedback, and accountability.
- Complete ongoing training offered by the firm and regulatory authorities, and the required training to maintain registrations and licenses in good standing.
- Utilize a firm‑provided branch office in the community.
- Receive client support to lighten workload so you can focus on clients.
- Work independently while being supported by a network that extends from your client support team office to your region and home office.

- Series 7 and Series 66 required.
- Experience in financial services working with clients and in‑depth knowledge of investment products and services, with a track record of success.
- State insurance licenses preferred.
- Preferred additional professional designations such as CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CRPC, or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™.
- Strong communication skills and self‑starter.

Successful financial advisors demonstrate ambition, self‑motivation, commitment to long‑term client relationships, confidence, and critical thinking. They are comfortable with problem solving and enjoy building enduring relationships.
Hiring minimum: $50,000
Hiring maximum: $125,000
