Mortgage Loan Officer Originator - Remote | WFH

We’re looking for a Mortgage Loan Officer to join our dynamic team!

This role offers a flexible remote/hybrid work setup, with the option to work from home or from one of our office locations in Woodland Hills, Ventura County, Santa Barbara, or San Luis Obispo. Ideal candidates will be based in or around these areas, but we welcome talent from all over.

As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you’ll play a key role in helping our clients find the best residential mortgage solutions. You will report directly to the Mortgage Sales Manager and work closely with our talented team to provide outstanding service.

What You’ll Do:

Prospect and connect with clients to offer tailored mortgage solutions

Turn leads into applications by proactively engaging with inbound and outbound sales opportunities

Understand clients' financial needs and recommend the best mortgage products and rates to meet those needs

Achieve sales performance goals that are measured monthly

Consult with and advise clients throughout the loan application process, guiding them through every step Collect necessary documentation from clients and ensure all details are accurate and up-to-date Coordinate loan processing and closing to ensure smooth and timely transactions

Be a trusted resource for real estate professionals, offering them helpful product information and support

Attend meetings and presentations to stay informed and help foster business relationships

Prepare reports and ensure the integrity and accuracy of loan files

What We’re Looking For:

At least 3 years of experience in managing and negotiating loans in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of loan processing guidelines, including those of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHAA strong understanding of standard loan practices, documents, and real estate terms

A deep understanding of the mortgage market and how to navigate it Proficiency in Spanish is a plus

Must be based in California Compensation:

Competitive annual salary ranging from $52,000 to $200,000, with commission opportunities
